My big dream is to have a small, farm-like setting with a red barn for my coaching and counseling center.
I envision sunflowers growing outside and a big porch with rocking chairs and a porch swing. I even know the colors I’ll use and how it will “look” and “feel” inside. (If you know me, you know I love to paint rooms….and I’m all about color! Should people really get this giddy when they think about painting stuff? ) I want it to be a peaceful place where people feel welcome and relaxed. I want it to be a safe place where they can say what’s on their hearts, dream, set goals, and take steps to move forward into all that God has for their lives.
I can’t think of a more perfect place for me to have my office. Besides coaching by phone, as I already do, I also envision working with individuals and groups in person. I’m thinking Bible studies, groups of all kinds, classes, workshops, mini-retreats, marriage weekends, you name it. I have so many ideas written down for what I would like to do with such a center.

I don’t know about you, but I get excited just thinking about my big dream and the possibilities. And telling others…as crazy as I may sound (be?) when they hear it… makes it seem even more possible.
I don’t know what the logistics will actually look like when it’s all said and done. I have no idea how or when I’ll accomplish my big dream. I have no idea about any details whatsoever….and let’s face it, right now it seems like an impossibility. But I know anything can happen and I’m keeping my dream in sight and working toward it each day, even if it’s just the vision-casting and praying stage for a long time.
